A weapon I made because there was a really cool description of it in a book written by my favorite author.

In an ancient fragment of another civilization laid hundreds of statues posed in worship. These hundred statues were placed orderly around a massive central altar. Atop the altar lay a figure, so vivid it was as though rather than carved from stone, it was a living creature turned to stone. The figure had a vicious appearance and its face was torn with rage and malice, screaming towards the heavens. With thick muscled arms it gripped the shaft of an archaic spear that pierced its chest, at the butt of which hung an eerie lantern; glowing with an eerie light and seemingly housing an otherworldly presence that pulsed rhythmically as it burned within a hellish fire.

Hi there, its been a while... I was reading "A world worth protecting" by Er Gen and somewhat near the beginning there is a place described and mention of a spear and an archaic lantern with a purple glow. Me being as illiterate as I am read the description as roughly "A spear stabbing into a statue with a purple ghostly lantern hanging off the end". In reality the correct description was roughly "A spear is stabbing a statue that is HOLDING a purple ghostly lantern".

Upon rereading that while I felt a bit silly that I had such a misunderstanding, I also thought that my idea was a bit cooler, so I went with my original misunderstanding anyways...

Anyways I bring you this nice, time worn spear "The Light at the End". The name is both a reference to the lantern "light" hanging off the end of the spear and also to the fact that the light of the lantern is the last thing someone getting killed by this spear will see at the end of their life :)

As a quick side not, there is audio that plays for the fire in the lantern, you might confuse it with someone blowing on a microphone, but after an hour of going through stock fire audio, I can confidently say, fire (with ought the crackling of wood burning) sounds pretty much the same as a small child doing his best to blow out a birthday candle, except the birthday candle is a microphone and now my ears hurt...

Hope you enjoy using it as much as I did making it.
