OverviewBeginner's Arsenal is an ambitious mod with the goal of bringing a full training overhaul to the game. With a multitude of well-balanced training weapons to choose from and waves to practice against, this is one of my largest mods yet.
The inspiration for this mod comes from Medieval Megapack's training sword. It's one of the few weapons in MMP that isn't intended for killing and is instead used to practice delivering and parrying blows without the risk of dying or killing your opponent. This mod stems from that idea and expands upon it.
Currently, the mod contains 41 custom wooden training weapons, covering most of the weapon types you can think of. Each weapon was custom modeled, textured, and implemented by me. These weapons are balanced about the same as their real counterparts. However, as they are made of wood and intended for practice, they do very low damage. They're nearly non-lethal, but with enough blows your enemy will fall.
Along with the training weapons, there are accompanying training waves. Waves range from 1v1 to 1v5, and all of the enemies in the waves will be wielding some variety of training weapons. As I update this mod over time, I will add more specialized waves.
As this is a big mod that took hours upon hours of work, I wish to keep it updated and add more content over time. If you like the mod, please consider endorsing it, as it tells me people want to see more. On that note, if you have any suggestions for more weapons for the mod, leave a comment and I will consider them. If I like it, I will add it to the list of planned weapons below!

Other Plans:
Add more custom training waves that feature dual-wielding enemies. Also, fix current waves to include dual-wielding enemies.
Create a custom training arena for the mod that is performance-friendly (if the mod isn't popular enough, this will be a separate mod).
Potentially add in metal training weapons, but this is unlikely.
