Initial Release
This is a remade of my first scripted weapon, Xenoblade Chronicles Monados. Each ability can be activated by either hitting an enemy to apply a debuff or by swinging the Monado and holding trigger to apply an aura.
Activate by pressing alternate use (spell wheel button for Oculus, thumb pad for Index) and trigger at the same time, and select a spell in the spell wheel while activated to switch abilities. Hold trigger while swinging to use the selected ability. Deselect a spell or activate an ability to revert to normal.
Monado Buster (Long): Performs a gravity slam at the point of impact, which damages and propels attacking/toppled/staggered enemies. Works best when paired with Monado Cyclone.
Monado Enchant (Purple): Imbues all allies' weapons with Fire. Does NOT independently allow enemies to hit each other, as this would severely decrease performance.
Monado Shield (Orange): Applies a damage buffer aura on the player, which will absorb damage until it reaches the damage limit or time runs out.
Monado Speed (Blue): Applies an agility aura which multiplies your walk/run/air speed until time runs out.
Monado Purge (Green): Purges the enemy of all beneficial auras and disables spell usage until time runs out. Hold down trigger while swinging to shoot out a cone, which applies the effect to all enemies in that cone.
Monado Cyclone (White): Topples all enemies in the level for a few seconds. Enemies will be unable to stand up until the topple wears off.
Monado Armor (Orange): Applies an armor aura which reduces all damage taken until time runs out. Damage multiplier goes from 0 to 1.
Monado Eater (Black): Applies a bleed debuff which damages enemies every 1.5 seconds until time runs out, as well as removes all beneficial auras. Hold down trigger while swinging to shoot out a cone, which applies the effect to all enemies in that cone.
Monado Jail (Purple): Immobilizes all enemies until time runs out.
Monado Rage (Red): Forces all enemies to target you until time runs out.
Monado Brave (Blue): Inspires all allies to move and attack faster until time runs out. Snaps allies out of their panic, if applicable.
Monado Fear (Yellow): Panics all enemies until time runs out.
Monado Recover (Green): Heals you and all allies and removes all status effects.
