A convenient, quality-of-life mod that saves the weapons in your hands on map changes, death, and even between game sessions so that when you respawn or reboot your previous weapons are where they were originally. Works exactly like Minecraft's keepInventory gamerule.
How is this Different than the Base Game?
The astute among you may have noticed that in the base game, adding weapons to your holsters in the home saves them to other maps. This is true. Here is how the game does it...
Adding weapons to your holsters in Home will permanently save those to your character. Leaving from home to another map will keep the items only in your holsters. If you drop a weapon from your holster in a map and you die, that holstered weapon will stay on your character regardless.
Adding weapons to your holsters or hands in any map will nonpermanently save those to your character. The Home level is no different than any other level; you can save weapons to your hands and holsters on any map. If you drop a weapon from your holster or hand in a map and you die, that weapon will not be on your character. The easiest way to think about my version is that it's like if your character respawned with whatever was on them when they died/loaded.
