This mod adds Star-Lord's Helmet from Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy Game, and my fantasy version of Star-Lords Element Guns (my first attempt at modelling and texturing). They're highly customisable, and the Helmet even features a HUD that shows you your Health, Mana and Focus.

These items can be found in the "Exotics" Category.






Helmet:

To use the Helmet, simply pick it up and simply let go next to your right temple/ right side of your forehead. when equipped, it'll automatically be turned off. To turn it on, place your right hand at the temple and press Alt-Use. If the HUD isn't disabled, it will also appear when you do this.



The Helmet will be turned off upon loading a level

Mana-Blaster:

The Mana-Blaster functions like a firearm, albeit it consumes mana for each shot fired. Pull the trigger to fire a shot.
Star-Lord's Element Guns can transform to suit the users needs, and so too can this. press Alt-Use while holding a blaster to transform it into a Rifle, with a second handle to two-hand. In this mode, By default, Shots do more damage, Cost more, And also have a chance to dismember limbs.







Most changes you'd like to make can be done from the Item_Weapon_ManaBlaster.json and Item_Weapon_ManaHelmet.json

Blasters:

  • GlowColor - affects the color of the runes, transform effect and blaster bolt color, default is Purple
  • HeadShotMult - how much the damage is multiplied if you shoot enemies in the head, if you don't want any multiplier, set it to 1
  • Pistol/Rifle Cost - How much mana is consumed per shot in each mode, default is 10/35
  • Pistol/Rifle Damage - How much damage a shot in each mode does, default is 18/40
  • Pistol/Rifle Delay - How much time (in seconds) before you can fire again for each mode, default is 0.3/0.7
  • Pistol/Rifle Recoil - how much force is applied backwards and up when a shot is fired, default is 5/10
  • RifleDismembermentChance - The chance for a limb to be dismembered from rifle mode, between 0-1 (0 never, 1 always)

Helmet:


  • GlowColor - affects the color of the eyes and the 'scanlines' when turning on and off, default is Red
  • FlashColor - color the screen flashes when turning the helmet on and off, recommended to not change 'a' and to not make any value higher than 1
  • disableFlash - if you do not like the screen flash, change to true to disable it
  • HUDColor - affects the color of the frame of the hud, default is Blue
  • disableHUD - if you do not like the HUD, or is in the way for recording, set this to true


HUDColor Affects the frame. this is also how it looks on the desktop view.



  • It's possible for the HUD to be offset and not display correctly the first time you put it on, this should resolve itself the first time you travel to a new area with the helmet equipped
