About this mod

A blade resulting from a mash-up of cultures. What would happen when the basic grip of a katana is combined with the length and guard of a renaissance rapier?

Update 1.5: Updated to the most recent U11 beta. Should now appear in the book.

This is another of my what-if concepts. What if we had to combine the basic geometry and grip of a katana, with the length and guard of a renaissance rapier. And make it double-edged." (jorro-t)

I wanted to challenge myself, so I decided making an accurate mesh for this model would be challenging enough. This way you are able to put your hand through the different parts of the guard. This is something that not even the Medieval MegaPack weapons have!  It took quite a bit of time, so I hope you enjoy the hard work put into it.

There are two versions of the mod. One is the standard color for the blade, and one is a golden variant of the sword. Choose whichever you like, or both even.

There are two mod files. The standard file only has the normal sword, while the variants file includes a Gold and Damascus variant along with the standard sword.

Currently, I have an Infinity Blade mod in the works that will add in many of the weapons found within the game, and possibly NPCs in the future (low chance of that though), as requested by the finder of the easter egg in my Asian Map Pack mod. There is still one easter egg left to be found. Whoever finds it will get to request a mod for me to make (within reason).

Before anything else, I want to update most of my popular mods to U11. Afterwards, I'll get started on some new and exciting projects. No spoilers!

And a personal note, this is one of my favorite weapons I've made for BaS. It feels great to use and has a very unique style to it. I almost kept it for myself for personal use, but I figured y'all would want to use it as well. Enjoy!

As always, Enjoy!
