About this mod
Crucible Girl is a custom NPC you can summon in any B&S map to fight by your side, by dropping her Anvil in the arena.

- Permissions and credits
- Changelogs
She doesn't have a custom model, and is instead using all vanilla assets for her appearance. However, she does require assets from other mods (listed below).
Story:
Once a town blacksmith, Crucible Girl's destiny changed forever when she came across a legendary sword in the wilderness. Upon picking it up, she became overwhelmed with a desire to Rip and Tear. To contain her rage and bloodlust, five mages sealed her in the anvil of her forge. Now that ancient artifact is yours, allowing you to summon the mad blacksmith and her terrifying weapon to aid you against your enemies.
Stats:
Health: 200 (4x normal enemies)
Weapon: The Crucible, the sword of the legendary Doomslayer.
Aggression: High. She is more aggressive than normal enemies, favoring heavy attacks to overwhelm her opponents. She also gets a bit bloodthirsty, and may accidentally hit you if you get too close.
Weaknesses: She can be caught off guard by fast enemies that get inside her range for quick hits, and has trouble taking down mages who run away constantly.

Balance Notes
I wanted to give this follower enough health to stand beside you and hold her own during long wave encounters (2 v 5) but not so much health that she's unkillable. In playtests I find she dies about 50% through a set of waves if I don't aid her, and 75% through if I do. It is possible to keep her alive, though.
Known Bugs/Issues
- The Crucible clips through her butt when sheathed on her back. She doesn't seem to notice.
- There's a chunk missing from her shoulder, a clipping issue with the chestplate I chose. It's part of her charm.
- Her hair color and eye color change with each summon. I couldn't figure out how to standardize that. Maybe one day.
- She takes up an "enemy" slot, in regards to how B&S counts the number of enemies who are alive/spawned. So you'll have one less enemy when she's spawned.
- In close environments she can often get the Crucible stuck in geometry. It's a big sword. She usually pulls it free.
FAQ
Why An Anvil?
Because she and the Crucible are metal AF.
Does An Anvil Really Fit In Your Waist Holster?
Try it.
Seriously, Why an Anvil?
Because I think it's hilarious to carry one around and then drop it to summon someone.
