About this mod

Adds a new black magic spell called "Blood magic" to your game.

Beginner Notes:
Blood magic is black magic. Black magic always has a price. Blood magics case, your cost is your life. Some part of the magic requires HP to use, and will drain your HP when using them. Keep a good eye on your HP, or else you'll fall victim to black magic. Every ability, and every passive scales off of your current HP. You'll be very strong at high HP, and very weak at little HP.
(This scales off of max HP, so works with 9999 HP.)

Cast:
This shoots a invisible cast, a straight line from your palm. Whatever it hits, will dictate what it does.

Living person: Blood manipulation.
Allows you to manipulate the current blood in their body. Holding cast will let you throw them around like the ragdoll they should be. This ability scales off of your current HP (multiplier) and the creatures HP determines the original force. (Victim HP * Player HP = Strength) & if HP is above 50%, has enhanced abilities.

Cost: ~6 HP per second of sustained use. Costs less the lower HP the victim is. (6 HP at maximum HP)

Dead person: Blood puppeteering.
Makes the dead body inflicted rise. They will be a puppet, that you're controlling through continuous concentration, keeping them alive requires a constant drain on your HP, but they make up for it. Anyone the puppet stands near will get their HP drained, and siphoned into you. Any weapon the puppet holds gets enhanced to be very strong, and can rip people apart with just a tap (Per kill the puppet gets gives you 50% HP back). Maximum of one puppet at a time. You can arm your puppet by holding a weapon to it's hand, and letting go of the weapon. Health is linked between you and your puppet, any damage dealt to your puppet gets redirected to you. Keep it safe.

Cost: 50% HP + 0.5% drain per second. (Puppet definitely makes up for this drain, and they refill your HP pretty fast throughout combat.)

Item: Puppet pull.
Pulls the item that was hit into the puppets hands as a arming method.
Tries right hand first, if something is occupying it, tries left. If left is full, tries player right. If player right is occupied, tries player left. If player left is occupied, it stops trying.

No cost.

Merge:
Kills everyone within 10 meters instantly.
(BEING FIXED)

Cost: 10% per person killed.

Unarmed:
Combat with your bare hands with blood magic is now a lot more overpowered. Hitting someone instantly removes the limb that you touched, and kills them instantaneously. (Costs 30% HP per hit.) Holding down spell cast and hitting someone will result in every part of their body coming apart (Costs 70% HP).

Armed:
Holding down trigger with the weapon that you're holding will result in enhancing it with your life, costing 5% hp per second. Hitting someone will result in their limb being instantly removed from their body (Costs 20% of HP). Passively drains nearby people when not enhancing your weapon of 2% HP per person, siphoning into the player.

Passives:
Passively regenerate HP from death:
If you see blood spill, you will regenerate HP for it. (Gaining scales with current HP, the higher your HP the harder it is to get, it's easy to get out of being low, but hard to stay at maximum.) (Damage / 2 (living) = HP+, Damage / 7 (Dead) = HP+)
Any damage taken is lowered, 50% damage reduction at max HP.
(HP = damage / (current HP / max HP) * 0.02)


There is one known issue that's very large, which is why I say this is 0.9 beta and not just 1.0.
The game breaks, and can't reload level, restart level, or replay after dying. This will be fixed in 1.0.
The only reason I'm releasing it early is because if I don't do it now, it'll take weeks and their is no guarantee that I want to keep working on it at that point.

EXTRA
There is also a Level_Master accompanied by this mod. If you want a nice fight with a "Puppet master", feel free to do so by going into it and entering a creature ID. If that creature ID spawns, you'll be able to fight the Puppet master. Puppet masters have 10 lives, each life has 1000 HP. After death, they shock, resurrect, and continue on. If the full 10 lives are reached, they are permanently out of the fight. They have damage reflection based off of range, HP siphon out of nearby creatures (that does not heal them), and the ability of speed and resistance. Feel free to use this in any way you want, mod makers or people who want a challenging fight.
