Centuries ago dwarf King Melgrim III began constructing a new dwarven city that's since fallen into ruin and was recently inhabited by a tribe of bandits. You've been sent to clear it out.



Melgrim's Vault is a map with a sizeable outside area and an expansive amount of indoor space. Just inside the main door you can find a torch with realtime lighting, which can be used to light up the darker spaces. The torch's light is dynamic, and dies out over time. Press the alt-use/spell menu button while holding it near a fire source(Wall torches or the forge) to relight it. There are 6 primary "combat spaces", each of which has a wave book, item spawner, and weapon rack. One space is outdoors, the books are right where you spawn. The rest are inside, and I'll leave you to find them. In addition to the torch, this map comes with four other items-- A shield, hammer, sword, and axe, all used by the elite defenders of Melgrim's Vault.



This map is currently relatively demanding of resources. I've done some optimization(Occlusion culling, mainly) but there's only so much I can do right now. The maximum "max alive" in any of the waves for this map is 6 for a reason! I don't recommend using waves from other mods that have max alive over 6. This map will also take a long time to load! I will attempt to fix this in the future, but it just takes a while. This map runs alright on my PC, and my specs are i7-8700k @ 4.7ghz, 16gb DDR4 3000mhz RAM, and a GTX 1070. I don't have a list of minimum specs for the map, but hopefully my specs are useful as a benchmark. There are also some lighting issues. It's hard to fix them, but for the most part the map is lit correctly.
