Do you miss the staff fireballs from U11/U12 of Blade and Sorcery? Do you want a dynamic new way to play with the fire spell in the 1.0 version? Are you looking for a less-OP and more dynamic alternative to the super high-powered staff flamethrower ability? This mod is for you!
This mod re-introduces the physics-based staff fireballs from U11/U12 as a T2 (second level) skill in the fire spell skill tree! I loved these fireballs back then, so once I learned more scripting skills in modding, I decided to build a mod to bring them back!
How to use: While swinging a fire-imbued staff, tap the alt-use button to shoot a fireball from the tip of the staff that will travel at the speed and direction of the staff’s velocity. Requires some skill to master, but it is SO satisfying (and a good workout!) when you get it right!
And don’t worry; while this skill can be activated as an alternative to the existing Inferno (Flamethrower) T3 staff ability, it can also be used at the same time for those who want both!
