Hey, So I was totally impressed with HBogard's EERIE LIGHTING RESHADE PRESET mod for Bioshock 1 Remastered. This mod puts in a Reshade similar to his work for Bioshock 2- Remastered.
Installation:
Reshade IS required! It is a software that adds post processing effects to your games. Bioshock games are compatible with this software.
1. Download Reshade at http://reshade.me/
2. Run the Reshade installer
3. The application will ask you to search for your game .exe file. Navigate to Bioshock2HD.exe and open it up.
**Remember to check all of the boxes except legacy shaders!
4. Go through the installation process.
5. Download the .ini file from here. This will be the config file that Reshade will use!
6. Extract the file and place the .ini file in the same folder as Bioshock2HD.exe
7. Open up the game and press Home
8. The system boots up the game without any effects by default. Press the arrow on top to turn on my reshade.
Enjoy. You can turn it off on your own!
Uninstallation:
Uninstall reshade from your game.
Navigate to the folder containing your game executable
Delete/Remove my .ini file
