GhostGripTraction is an advanced grip management system designed to approach real-world tire behavior based on slip angle dynamics, grip loss rate, and tire structure.
This mod introduces a fully custom traction model that:
VERY IMPORTANT: THIS MOD DOES NOT INCREASE THE OVERALL GRIP. you have less grip than you originally have but the behavior of the tire has been changed. there's compensations to have better weight transfer from a lot of parameters, And it helps to prevent rear snap due to engine limitation. It will not prevent drift or anything.
It takes me 20 hours of development and 50 hours of alpha and beta testing.
Installation : Drop the zip file in AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.XX\mods\

- Reacts to the slip angle for progressive grip modulation
- Simulates grip memory and delay through persistent angle tracking
- Applies smart compensation when rapid grip loss is detected
- Dynamically adjusts grip based on tire width, sidewall height, and softness
- Dynamically adjusts grip on dirt based on tire slip.

- V 1.01 : hotfixes and grip reduced by 1%
- V 1.02 : tweak all parameters and added 3 more for better accuracy.
- V 1.04 : added speed sensitivity depends of tire width
- V 1.05 : tweak compensation so users can enable "Side acceleration strength" in Force Feedback Configuration
- V 1.06 : added a more progressive compensation gain
- V 1.08 : Dirt handling has been Updated
- V 1.09 : balanced physics on dirt
