  • Pilot Skills and Abilities

    Evasive Pips:

Mechs have a chance to keep their evasive pips. This chance starts at 0% and increased per level of piloting. Note that Ace Pilot increases this chance per tier.

    Pilot XP:
Pilots have a maximum experience that they can reach. This is capped at 60,000 XP.
Pilot experience per mission has diminishing returns. For every 7,500 XP they have they will generate less experience per mission.
This experience cap can lead to final pilots such as: 10/9/6/6, 10/10/4/4, 10/8/7/6, and 8/8/8/8.
Pilots can reset their experience and respec their tree once the second Argo Training Module is unlocked. This can be accomplished by Shift-clicking on the Skills tab in the barracks.

    Injuries:
All pilot injuries have a chance ...

  • Combat Enhancements

    Miscellaneous

To-hit bonuses given out on a tiered level based upon overall resolve. 50 resolve is +1 to-hit, 75 resolve is +2 to-hit, and 100 resolve is +3 to-hit.
Pilot cannot manually eject until their panic has increased at least one level or until their mech has suffered 50% damage.
Evasion Pips will not always degraded when shot at. Keeping evasion pips is tied to a pilot's piloting skill.
The enemy lances at higher skulls will have their equipment automatically upgraded. You may not see the exact equipment on a mech in your salvage due to this behavior.

    Mission Control

Additional allied and enemy lances may spawn at the start of a mission.
Drop points are randomized on the map. On very rare occasions this may strand your...

  • Simulation Game

    Miscellaneous:

MechTech Skill has been changed to a 1000x scale. This was necessary for balance reasons.
Your monthly funding limit now changes your morale, MechTech Skill, and MedTech Skill for the next 30 days. People will work harder if happier!
You can search the Star Map for specific system names and other information by hitting control-F on the map.

    Pre-Combat:

Your Leopard Dropship now starts in need of repairs to be fully functional. It has a drop limit of 175 tons. This can be expanded to a 450 ton drop limit with 6 pilots through Argo Upgrades.
Drop Costs are implemented based upon weight. The heavier your lance, the more expensive the drop will be.

    Post-Combat

Mech Experience is now capped. Pl...

  • Core Weapons

    General Notes on Weapons

Shots when fired are the number of independent shots from a weapon. They each have independent to-hit rolls. Total potential damage is Damage x Shots When Fired.
Projectiles per Shot is how many smaller packets of damage the Total Damage is split into. Damage packet = Total Damage / Shots When Fired. Each projectile also rolls to-hit independently but cluster similar to LRMs.
All lasers deal a small amount of heat damage. This is done for balance purposes and makes heat control much more dynamic for the player.

    Specific Notes on Weapons

    Streaks:

Roll a single to-hit. Based upon this roll, the missiles either all hit or all miss.
If the the to-hit roll is not successful, no ammo is consumed.

  • Galaxy at War

    General Mechanics

Hit Control-R at any time to see the current state of the Factions fighting for dominance.
Each planet provides Attack and Defense Resources based upon their production and value to their faction. You can see this information on the Navigation Map when you hover over a system.
Difficulty of systems are directly correlated to how many attack and defense resources a system provides.
By hovering over a planet on the Navigation Map you will also see the percentage control of factions currently vying for dominance on a system. If one faction has 25% more control than the second-most dominant faction on the list, they will take control of the system.
Any remaining control on planets that are stolen from a faction will be converted to a...
