This mod is an addition to HBS Heavy Metal DLC. New Equipment and Weapons are available in Skirmish. DLC Mechs lose her special Equipment, but it can be pruchase in Career and Campagne mode.

Endosteel -> 3 Quality classes. The best Clas is only aviable in the Factions Stores from Kurita.

You can euqip a maximum of two components per mech. Can be used without HMP or ModTek.

no space, you can drag and drop equipment over it.  
-Itemlist reworked for a better work with with the Addon New Mechs Plus; I had
the problem that Stinger, Wasp and Crusader are often the only Mechs available
in Stores.

ADDON: 
Custom Mechs: a second cicada variant, Javelin, Griffin and Locust. They are
equiped with the last new weapons from the DLC.

I replaced only one or two weapons on the 16 Mechs with their LosTech variant
from DLC. An example, I replaced the AC10 on the  Centurion with an UAC10.
Only small changes.

ADDON:
Custom Mechs!
Annihilator, Assassin, Blackjack, Centurion, Cicada, Dragon, Flea, Hunchback,
Jagermech, Marauder, Shadowhawk, Urbanmech, Vulcan and Zeus
are customized with the new weapons from the DLC Heavy Metal. This are new
variants and can be spawned with the vanilla versions of the Mechs. It is not a
replacer! If you want fight against Mechs with the new weapons choose this.
Works also without this MOD Heavy Metal Plus. But why you should use it
without? ;)

Heavy Metal Plus

Hello everybody! Welcome to this little addition to the Heavy Metal DLCfrom HBS. All of the DLCs from HBS are very good and give the Player new Toys and Fun. 
I create this mod for myself, but I thought it will be funny, if i give it to you for the possibility to play the game with my mod. I hope you enjoy it like me. ;)

This mod is a little mod and it is for people which don't want great modifications for there game. I am playing for fun Skirmish against the AI and so I have expand the new weapons and the vanilla equipment to this mode.
I don't like that HBS give the new Mechs special Equipment. but not tothe  old ones. I know some modder think about to give Them also special equipment. But I think this is a screw for ballancing.  And I see it so, that Battletech has enought screws.
I like the Tabletop, so i've dicided to remove the equipment from the Mechs, and  put it in the stores. You can find it on advanced research and advanced electronics World.

HBS has rewrite the stores in Version1.8.  
I like it not realy. In my opinion some ideas are good but i don't like that every planet has a minimum from 4 diverent Mechparts. So i rewrite the stores. Now it is more random in the tables and to 50% you get no Mechparts or Mechs. So it could be that no parts available on the market, but it is possible to get many Parts and Mechs. Or something between. I think it is a galaxy on war and so it could be possible that you can have luck and find a great amount of Parts.
HBS has put the new weapons with a high weight in the random tables. I change it and use the new weapons like rare items. It is more common to find Stock weapons on the market. But the idea from HBS for the Black Market and Faction Stores are very good. So i don't change it.    

I Love the Marauder II and I miss it in this DLC, so I put the machine in:

I Know that this machine was only available for the Wolf Dragoons in thisTimeline (Like the Annihilatior). But in my version it is available for House Liao.  

For this machine i use the MechReziserMod for the vanilla Marauder Model.


Modified Gear:

All Activators and Targeting Systems have a weight of 0t.
All Special Equipment is available in Stores, but is very rare.


Random Mechs at Carrier Start
I put the new DLC mechs in the table and my Favorite lost tech Mech(Griffin). If you will pick up the Heavy Metal crate, you will get one heavy Mech. Normaly a Dragon.

I've read the Forums and I think some players like it to start with a HeavyMech in there lance. Why not? If you want a hard start, don't take the crate.

I have to say on my first 2 Skull Mission i lost the Heavy and one MediumMech. Hey, it is a dice game.

Install:
1. Download ModTek: https://github.com/BattletechModders/ModTek
2. Install it!
3. Download my mod
4. Put in [your Steam or gog Game folder]\Battletech\Mods
5. Activate it in the Mod Menu from Battletech.
6. Have much fun!

Next Steps:
(Rezise the vanilla Model)
add new Pilotes
add the new special equipment from Heavy Metal to the stores.
remove these Equipment from the new mechs 

add some hero mechs for skirmish mode
Change Heavy Metal crate to 3 Heavy Mechs
Put some costom mechs with the new weapons in the opfor on missions. Today I
have no idea how i can do it, but i will find a sulotion. ;)
Find a way to a controlled spawning of Hero Mechs.
