This mod adds conventional AoE 3025 artillery vehicles and turrets to Vanilla Battletech. Specifically, Long Tom, Sniper Artillery and Thumper based units.
It also contains lance definitions, pilots, some AI tweaks (AI still WIP) and a selection of contracts to introduce Artillery gameplay.
Note, the artillery units are set to only show up in the specially crafted missions as part of predefined artillery fire support lances - they should not show up in a random selection of vehicles on any old mission. I have done this due to potential balance issues.
Artillery has also been made relatively powerful to provide challenging missions with difficulty between 2.5 to 5 skulls.
Where's the Kaboom? There's supposed to be a Kaboom!
The Artillery guns are not installable on mechs. If you're looking to mount a Sniper artillery cannon to your assault mech, this is the wrong mod for you, and/or you can modify it yourself.
This mod requires Modtek and the Community Asset Bundle for the Tank and Turret models I used (Made by Colobos) . It also requires WeaponRealizer and CustomAmmoCategories to function. Copy Pasting CustomAmmoCategories.json is no longer required as of CAC v0.0.85
This was a little side project, but I hope you enjoy it!
