About this mod
ModDescription: Changes made to the Flamer and Machine Gun to be more in line with CBT and scaled to other HBS weapon values.
- Permissions and credits
* Flamers - All Flamers now generate heat equal to that of a Medium Laser, do slightly less damage than a Small Laser, and have infinite ammo (except for the Olympus Flamer). Since it seems impossible at the moment to include a switch for the Flamer to do damage or heat damage, the heat damage remains the same as the value HBS has set except for upgraded weapons.
* Machine Guns - Now only do damage to ONE location (once) and do the same damage as the HBS Stock GM Autocannon/2.
Details:
Stock Skylight Flamer: 15 Damage, 10 Heat Generated, 10 Heat on Target
Hotshot Flamer: 20 Damage, 10 Heat Generated, 10 Heat on Target
Olympus Flamer: 15 Damage, 10 Heat Generated, 15 Heat on Target, 10 Starting Ammo Capacity
Explanation: All Flamers now generate Heat when fired (same as Stock Medium Laser) and do slightly less damage than a Stock Small Laser, except for the Hotshot (which does the same damage as the Small Laser but runs hotter).
Stock Sperry Browning Machine Gun: 25 Damage, 1 Shots When Fired
MG Description:
"Machine Guns deal moderate damage equal to that of the long range AC/2, but have severely limited range, and depend upon volatile ammunition stores. However, they have a greatly increased chance to cause Criticals when they impact a target that has been stripped of its armor and do not suffer from recoil effects from continuous fire."
