-----CWTech 0.9.1-----

Mod for HBS's BattleTech game adding some civil war era weapons systems.
Includes heavy/light gauss, light/heavy/snub-nose PPC, light machine gun, MRM10/20/30/40,
Streak SRM2/4/6, Ultra Autocannon 2/5/10/20, Light Autocannon 2/5 and Heavy Rifle. Uses
stock nearest-neighbour ammo bins, because it's a hassle to add custom ammo bins (MRMs use
LRM ammo, LMGs MG ammo, etc.). Balanced generally for adding mid-late game variety, competes
well with stock versions of most later-game weapons. Stock weapons will be available from
the start at any population center for ease-of-life. If you don't want early game to be
unbalanced, ignore them until later. ++ variants of weapons are available in black market
shops, as well as in salvage (if you choose to install the modded database).

Also adds 16 new mech variants, most using weapons from this pack. Half of these
variants use XL engines in canon, so I've included a pseudo-XL engine type (called Prototype
Light Fusion Engine) that works as an upgrade that decreases weight at the cost of killing
the mech if it gets crit. If you install the optional database, AI lances will use all these
new mech variants in addition to the old ones.

-----INSTALLATION-----

  • Copy BattleTech_Data into your BATTLETECH folder, overwriting the existing BattleTech_Data folder.

  • Copy VersionManifest.csv into /BATTLETECH/BattleTech_Data/StreamingAssets/data

  • If you have other mods, make sure to copy over their relevant lines from VersionManifest.csv,
or copy the lines at the bottom of this readme into your existing VersionManifest.

  • If you don't like my doublling of LRM ammo amount, change ammo count in the following file
\BATTLETECH\BattleTech_Data\StreamingAssets\data\ammunitionBox\Ammo_AmmunitionBox_Generic_LRM.json
from 240 to 120 or your preference.

  • Make sure you install Morphyum's Shot Count Enabler for the UACs  to work properly, otherwise they'll
be a little weird with how they work (only rolling once for a hit, occasional ghost damage, etc.).

----COMPATIBILITY----

Make sure that all the files in the "mods" folder are listed in the VersionManifest.csv, for this mod
and any others you have installed.

----CHANGELOG----

--0.9.1---
-Custom shops instead of vanilla replacements, allowing for more compatibility and easier uninstallation.
-Also fixed missing VersionManifest lines in the readme.

--0.9--
-Added Prototype Light Fusion Engines. Slots into torsos, provides weight savings at the cost of slots. Mech dies if the component gets crit.
-Added 8 new mech variants utilizing the experimental engine upgrades (CPLT-K5, DRG-7N, JM6-DD, KGC-001, VTR-10S, GRF-5M, TBT-9K, WVR-9M).
-Added these new mechs to the optional database to allow AI lances to use them.

--0.8--
-Added LAC2/5, Heavy Rifle.
-Added 8 new mech variants, some with weapons in this mod (AS7-S, AWS-8R, CDA-X-5, ENF-5P, GRF-5M-C, KGC-000-C, UM-R68, VND-1X).
-Updated UACs to work with Morphyum's Shot Count Enabler (allowing for actual multiple shots, instead of just visual changes).
-Added ++ variants of many of the included weapons, available by mid-game on black market planets.
-Added an optional modded database which allows AI lances to use the new mech variants, as well as allowing my ++ weapons to show up in salvage.

--0.76--
-Reintroduced Streak SRMs.

--0.75--
-What I tried to do with streaks caused infinite loading when editing a mech, streaks removed for now.

--0.7--
-Added Streak SRMs, UACs, and light/heavy PPCs.
-Included doubled LRM ammo count so large MRMs don't run dry so fast.

--0.6--
-Fixed Snub PPCs not being in shops.
-Lowered rarity of gauss ammo.

VersionManifest.csv lines for compatibility with other mods are included at the end of the readme file in the main download.
