Back when it worked this was the only good mod for Battletech.
Good balance, no waiting years to build mechs due to low occurrence of lostech items (the other attempts at this are completely broken with far too many variants of everything to build a proper lance before the next patch and another restart).
Sad to see it go, but time is often money so no worries.
Can this mod be used with one of the mods that add more lostech items? I need some heavy gauss and so on, but i really like the balanced introduction to new tech in this mod.
Hi thanks for the mod, but is it by design that if you negiotiate salvage 2/8 for example it auto assigns you with 2 pieces of random salvage and you get nothing else? Makes it kinda hard to get partial mech salvages
This is certainly not by design. I have never encountered this behavior. Does it always happen to you or just in special cases? Are you using any other mods?
Hi It happened after my last game and i was afraid to play more matches as the lack of salvage becomes quite punishing. I am only using your mod and nothing else.
I have so far not been able to recreate this issue. I am sorry but I can't provide any meanignful support without that or some logfiles. If you are able to recreate this please send me a copy of "<your battletech directory>\BATTLETECH\BattleTech_Data\output_log.txt".
I love this mod, but it appears to introduce a bug. In mech component view, I see multiple entries of the same mech model, for example WVR-6R are displayed twice, with two 1/3 components. It appears that the lost tech mechs are not merged with the standard chassis in salvage. They definitely have the same chassis but for some reason recognized as different mechs. It's probably better to label the lost tech versions with an explicit model variant.
This looks really impressive DrBanzai. (Your theme song is my ringtone, by the way...) I was wondering if it needs to be updated for 1.3/FP? I'll definitely use this on my next playthrough.
Already working on an update ;) I did spend quite some time redesigning this. Been struggling with the too high spawn frequency of LosTech designs in campaign/career mode for some time. Ended up redesigning the whole lance composotion logic...
There indeed is. There are two Demolisher variants with Gauss Rifles out there. As well as maybe a dozen mechs. The other night I got wrecked by reinforcement coming from behind fielding a total of 6 Gauss Rifles and numerous LRMs.
ya just encountered a urbie with a gauss in a 1.5skull mission....lil bugger caught me by suprise. it managed to almost core one of mine before we got it.

I use the newest Modtek 0.6.0.
