About this mod
Adds several new arm mods and melee-range weapons based on industrial equipment, as might be carried by an Industrial Mech.
Chainsaw, Cultivator, Arc Welder, Plasma Torch, Jackhammer, Mining Drill, Excavator Claw and Cargo Grip.

Not all mechs are used for warfare in the world of BattleTech, some are civilian models used for mining, farming, construction and similar heavy industries.
This mod adds several pieces of equipment designed for these industrial mechs, but which are useful enough in melee combat that a down-on-their-luck mercenary might equip one.
New Weapons
Adds six new "melee range" weapons, by which I mean they have a maximum range of 1 hex. These are classed as support weapons so will fire automatically after melee, but can also be fired on their own at an adjacent target, e.g. to make a precision strike at a bodypart.
The Cultivator and Chainsaw do basic physical damage.
The Jackhammer and Mining Drill do stability damage as well as physical.
The Arc Welder and Plasma Torch do heat damage as well as physical, and unlike flamers they never run out of fuel.
New Equipment
The Cargo Grip grants +20 stability damage but a -2 to hit.
The Excavator Claw grants +20 physical damage but a -2 to hit.
Where To Buy Them
All of the above are purchasable in Industrial/Manufacturing stores and in the black market.
The mining tools can also be bought in Mining stores, and the welders in Electronics stores.
Requirements
None. Works with the default mod loader.

Conflicts
None. Hopefully.
These are appended to existing itemCollections without overwriting anything, so you should be able to mix and match with any other mods you like.
How To Install
1) unzip and place the folder "Handy Industrial Weapons" into your mods directory*
2) tick to enable on the in-game mods menu.
