About this mod

This mod balances all of the ( imo ) severely underwhelming energy weapons and allows for LosTech to be bought from certain shops.

Permissions and credits
As said above , i personally found Lasers and PPC's to be very underwhelming to the point that i wanted to use them but felt it somewhat gimping my Mechs whenever i tried .
So i altered almost all of them , maybe a few will be too powerful but i personally have enjoyed the many options this mod has given me a fair bit .

The main change i've made was to lower the ridonculous Heat build-up and added a few points of extra Damage here an there .

i've left most of the regular / balistic weapons untouched save for the Gauss and the Flamers .

for Large Lasers in general the Heat has been lowered from 30 to 20 and the damage has been increased by 5 overall

the PPC's have their Heat lowered from 40 to 30 aswell as a DmG increase of 5 and an additional +5 Heat DmG so anything wielding a PPC feels alot more dangerous .
The reason for the +5 Heat was my own ( limited )understanding of Battletech lore concerning PPC's and how they mess up a targetted Mech's systems and making stuff essentially overload .
Letting a PPC do *some* Heat damage seemed like a cool way to add that feature .
The last tiny change i made is make them weigh 1 Ton less down from 7 to 6 , this does make salvaged Mechs have some unspend weight but other then that i havent noticed any issues myself .


LosTech weapons have received a similair treatment as when i played the Smithon mission a fair few of the supposedly amazing and rare SLDF tech felt ... not quite so amazing due to insane Heat build-up and surprisingly weak damage .

Main changes here are also Less Heat ( but still more then their regular Laser counterparts ) increased Damage ( about 10 more damage and a small chance to crit as it IS LosTech after all , it should be properly lethal )

As for the Flamers and Gauss , Hotshot Flamers deal alot more Heat ( 20 instead of 10 and deals 10 regular damage ) Olympus Flamers now deals 15 DmG and 15 Heat
The Gauss being a special weapon has got a +10 DmG increase a chance to crit and a minor accuracy boost.

The Black Market very rarely can now sell LosTech weapons ( roughly as rare as any +++ weapon )
and certain Industrial / Rich or Manufacturing Planets can on occasion sell Double Heatsinks .
I have not touched the prices on these items as i felt they were fine .

I have also slightly increased the Ammo amount for all the AC's which perhaps isnt to everyone's liking but i made this Mod purely for my own enjoyment initially so if anything isnt to your liking .. dont Download it :)
