About this mod
Machinegun bullets hitting your armour shouldn't be causing major wounds. Now using BTML and Harmony!

1) The head of a mech gets shot by a weapon while it's armoured. A check that it was hit by at least 10 damage in a single instance is done, before it'll commit to a head injury. This is to prevent machinegun bullets barely doing anything causing grievous wounds to the MechWarrior.
2) The head of a mech gets shot by a weapon while it's unarmoured. A check that it was hit by at least 5 damage in a single instance is done, before it'll commit to a head injury. Though this can be a bit academic since if you're taking hits to an exposed cockpit, you're rolling some hefty dice with the life of that MechWarrior.
These values can be adjusted in the mod's mod.json file.
Installation
Place the mod folder inside the game's mod folder:
WIN: C:\Users\user_name\MyDocuments\MyGames\BattleTech\mods
LIN: /home/user_name/MyGames/BattleTech/mods
OSX: /Users/user_name/MyGames/BattleTech/mods
If the above folder doesn't exist, you need to start Battletech to have it create the folder.
If you get a message about needing to overwrite the folder, click yes: either you're updating the mod (in which case you should be replacing it),
or you're installing another mod from me, in which case your OS should be smart enough to merge the conflicting folders.
If the mod doesn't appear inside the mod list when you launch Battletech, try moving the LessHeadInjuries folder outside of the RealityMachina folder. It should give you a folder path like Battletech/Mods/LessHeadInjuries if you did it correctly.
