I was bugged by the limited selection of voices in HBS BT since I started to make custom characters. I heard these pilot voices so many times it did not sit right with me to see them attached to my characters. So I spend the last 200 hours of BT with pilot voices turned off, not ideal but it worked.
However now thanks to Kmission and Modtek team we can have as many voices as we want, so I decided to take a swing at it.

The gist is very simple, lines ripped from games and accommodated as BT pilot lines. Lines have been cut down, spliced, and even substituted with BB voice lines. As you can imagine it is not a perfect fit so consider these voices to be more for fun than feedback.

Make no mistake, this is a quick and dirty collection of soundbanks from other sources to use in your modded campaign. No mod framework, pilot files or avatars and no plans to include any in the near future. Although a great source of pilot pictures can be found in 'New portraits for pilots' mod by Ufoshnik. Also If you are looking for ready-made pilots with higher quality and BT lore friendly, you might want to check out the stellar UNSEEN HEROES OF HBS BATTLETECH mod.

For the initial release the package contains voice of Duke Nukem - because every game is better with Duke. As well as an assortment of generic voices from Xenoblade Chronicles X character creator, that game has mechs too so it all works out. The latter ended up sounding pretty similar, but hey you won't be fielding them all at once. Probably.

More familiar voices will come.
