- Install Reshade Version 4.9.1 to SWBF2, Make sure you have ticked Legacy standard effects, And ensure the contents of your 'reshade-shaders' folder looks like the image below:
- Extract the 'Fox_Preset.ini' & the 'Fox_Preset_Alt.ini 'from the archive, to your GameData folder (Where the BattlefrontII.exe is)
- Enjoy!
Star Wars: Battlefront II 2005 turned 16 years old in November past.. And yet there are still so many who adore and play the game regularly to this day.. And It's continued success is due in no small part to the hard work of it's talented modding community. I'm happy to do my part by presenting to you, The Fox Reshade - SWBF2 Edition!
The result is a far more modern and more vibrant game, and when used along side mods like the Battlefront 2 Remaster Project, the visuals are truly stunning! It really makes each planet look and feel different.
I hope this preset brings you all as much joy as it does me!
There are two presets included:
The Main preset (Fox_Preset.ini) - The primary preset to be used on most maps.
The Alternate preset (Fox_Preset_Alt.ini) - To be used on very bright maps like Tatooine and Tantive IV.. (Hoth is unnaturally bright regardless, I'm working on it)
Keyboard Shortcuts:
F9 Toggles the selected preset on & off.
F8 Toggles between the Main preset and the Alternate preset. (Alt version for maps like Tatooine & Tantive IV)
F10 Toggles cinematic black bars on and off. (Great for screenshots)
