Also this mod lowers the CD on the auger probe to 10 seconds for convenience.
This mod effectively disables the Boarding mechanic by lowering the range and angle to around 10 for each this way it doesn't remove anything from the game this way the game will still play with out bugs it just makes Boarding useless for the AI and you also lightning strikes. This does not mean that the other boarding skills will not work its just the main 2 skills only being affected. once again only the main 2 skills are affected. as to why the other skills are not affected i could not find where they are located and don't have a time to hunt em down though the files. i felt that this was sufficient and have played through the whole chaos campaign with this and it worked like a charm.
I strongly recommend making a back up of the original file because there are missions that do require you to board other ships. Or use my other mod Auger Probe CD 10s for those missions. there are not many but just a few.
This is meant for single player only! and should not work for multiplayer.
For those that will complain about balance or not playing the game the way it was meant to be i don't care. no one is forcing you to download the mod and use it.
To use this file you have to disable Easy anti cheat or EAC for short this is done on steam by right clicking on the game going to properties click on set launch options and put in " -NoEAC " minus the quotes

- Make a back up of the file" Ships_Skills.csv " located at \Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefleet Gothic Armada II\BattlefleetGothic2\Content\Data\CSVData ( i make a folder on my desktop and call it "Originals" that way i know where they are)
- Download this file
- Unzip
- place the unziped file at \Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefleet Gothic Armada II\BattlefleetGothic2\Content\Data\CSVData and replace
- play!
