A couple of mods to remove some annoying sounds that pollute the otherwise amazing sound design, increasing immurshion.
- Permissions and credits
One file to remove the super loud sounds of receiving ammo and health, which especially on speakers just drown everything else out and are just unnecessary in general.
One file to remove the SFX of awards; ribbons, medals, assignments, promotions, and squad orders. Especially ribbon sounds going off immediately after getting kills is annoying for me, hiding the echo of your shots and all the other cool stuff going on.
One file to remove the loud drum sound that plays with the UI message of objective captured/lost.
Goes well with Ch1nc0l 's mod removing the jingle sound after kills, which also just buries all other audio. https://www.nexusmods.com/battlefield1/mods/15
