A very simple mod that not only uncaps perk points, but also lets you gain full stat developments after level 11.

This mod is discontinued since I have long since moved away from Battle
Brothers, and can't invest the time (, or in case of DLC even real
money) to simply keep the mods updated. Instead of deleting or hiding
it, I am leaving the mod in a permanent "As is" state, so future modders
can still find it, and look through the files to learn the manipulation
procedures, just like I have done before with formerly
dead/discontinued modding concepts in Battle Brothers too.
In this regard I encourage and allow everyone to use all the resources within and develop them further.

Update:
There is now a more 'true to the name' version of the mod replacing the main file, where indeed just Perk Points are earned after level 11, and no other changes are made to the level up process. The old version which features continued normal stat gains in addition to that, is now just optional.
However! The new main mod file now requires changes in the frequently accessed player.nut file, which makes the mod incompatible with many others. The previous version, with the stat gains enabled, only required changes in character.nut, which was the main reason I released this version despite the name of the mod.

Mod Description (for the optional file// other should be self-explanatory):

Two simple edits in the game files made it so you can now level up to level 51 at most, while having full stat gain and perk point collection. To be fair, 50 perk points are probably not even possible to spend with the All Perks mod installed, and I do get the concerns about making all-arounder characters instead of specialists with personality. However, to that I add that leveling up after 11 still takes really really long, so you will never actually get there.

An additional edit also slightly decreases the amount of experience needed per further level up. Vanilla you would need 1/3rd of all the experience you needed to get to level 11, just to get to level 12... .(and get like what? no perk, full 3 stat points, and a cream-cake to the face with someone chanting "congratulations"...) Now you will need roughly 1/4th to that every time, which further increases in cost at only half the rate as before.
Example: A level 14 character would have needed 33000exp in vanilla, and needs 25500 with this mod. A level 21 character in vanilla needed 110000exp, but now only needs 67500.

The problem with levels after 11 feeling like a joke in Battle Brothers (shouldn't soft caps feel... soft?) was what upset me so much that I spent a whole day learning how to mod this game, just so I could remove this boundary.


Attention: This mod is not really compatible with running games. If you install it and load an old save, you will still get the perk points on level ups, but the stat points will remain as +1s in everything. The reason for this is that the game rolls all your characters' level-ups on their generation beforehand, so changing the generation script will only take effect on new characters in running games.
There is no way around this other than completely tampering with fundamentals here, which I can't recommend for any published mod.


Installation:
- Drop the .zip file into the games' /data folder and extract the archive in place

Compatibility:

This mod modifies the player.nut script, which makes it incompatible with every other mod that does.

The optional download instead only accesses character.nut, which is used much more rarely.
