The initial buff for player character has been changed from +10 resolve to +10 initiative. Sword attacks ignore 15% more armor now.
A swordmaster origin for guys want to use swords as usable weapon. It is a little bit easier than lone wolf origin, but also with higher risk.
Main features: Old Swordmaster: Start with a very experienced(lvl 5) but old swordsmaster. --- Find THE TREE! Master of sword: Sword attacks ignore 10%15% more armor(only works for the player character). --- SAVE SWORDS. Elite Few: Can never have more than 12 men in your roster. --- SAME AS LONE WOLF. Avatar: If your swordsman dies, the campaign ends. --- SAME AS LONE WOLF.
Actually his mod inspired me that's why I made this one. Here are the differences/tweaks:
0) The old swordmaster has a modified 'player character' trait which increases initiative +10 instead of resolve +10 in order to distinguish with what in Lone Wolf orgin. 1)Swordmaster background is kind of 'overwhleming' at the starting stage, so I add 'old' trait to them for balance. This is also to avoid some immersion -breaking events to happen. 2) The default equipments has been modified. As a swordmaster noble sword is a decent default weapon. As a compensation the default armor/helmet has been degraded to very poor ones. This is to give a more challenging experience and to correspond to the spawn icon/pictures. 3) The PAYCUT event should not happen for your old swordmaster now because of its immersion-breaking description. 4) The original idea is to give player a chance to play as a real master of sword, not to save all the swordmasters/swords in the game.
