Amazing mod, it's really basic but I have a proposal/request if you don't mind. Is it possible to add a version with "obvious" trates (we can see without tryout) as in Smart Recruiter (Alternative version)? Or could you please advice how to do it?
Thank you for this mod. It adresses the main problem I've noticed with mid- to late-game hiring. The non-lowborn recruits come with expensive gear which is more of a curse than a blessing, as it is very rarely desirable at a point where you'd consider hiring them. Hiring naked isn't an option, so this is the next-best thing, you get roughly half the actionable information at roughly half the recruit's cost (at 2x cost version), without the premium costs of the equipment you'd probably dump at a nearest trading center anyway. And should you choose to keep them, the added overhead isn't a dealbreaker, it is really only fair, which is close to the spirit of tryout as intended.
I have this problem too and had it with the original Tryout-Mod. Is there any chance, that this can be fixed (even though some people find it too be unbalanced, this way I can incorporate using tryouts in my real gamelay without save-scumming).
Tested it on 1.5.0.12 patch and both versions correctly are giving the 50% recruiters discount. However, I found out that x2 version was not really doubling the cost of tryouts in most cases. Fixed now + cleaned up the unnecessary code.

It shows all the things when i hit "Try out" but it still costs so it doesnt work quite well.
What do you mean? You always had to pay for the tryout. This mod doesn't aim to change that.
