    Loving the new update but I just had a Flagellant spawn with the Dedication perk available which is related to Davkul and Cultist hoods. Now I can certainly see how a Flagellant could be very dedicated but this still feels ever so slightly wrong. Was this intentional? There is a new religious perks group after all.

      Yeah, in v14 we've changed up for the inquisition origin. Nexus is still on v13, likely until after the next DLC

      Fair enough. I honestly wasn't expecting an update before the new dlc at all. I'm considering this update a lucky bonus.

    Hey everyone I wanted to start a thread about possible background that would be interesting to see in the mod, maybe this could gave the modder ideas.
    I will start :
    - professional soldier, like the retired soldiers but without old, cost more and has a bit more health/fatigue and a bit less mele attck and def
    - militia recruiter, lessen the recruitment cost a bit (like peddler lessen the wage by percentage)
    - militia sergeant, better training and melee stats than militia, cost more
    - field surgeon, better healing capacities than the monk, but lower resolve, good melee attack but low fatigue, perk tree with intel and medical perk, perk with daggers
    - arm sergeant, better repairs but no more tools than ordinary recruits
    - explorers, low combat scores but best walking speed, also helps you to see farther

    What else could we think of ?

      Miner's on strike? Or perhaps the mine closed down and they're a bunch of out of work miners seeking employment.
      Perhaps a troupe of travelling entertainers. Jugglers, bards, minstrels etc.
      A group of monks and nuns as a religious counterpart to the cultist origin.
      Dwarf Mode! Two thirds of all available recruits have the tiny trait. It would be an interesting and different challenge.

      Good suggestions. I like the explorer and recruiter a lot. The Troupe and Inquisiton origins exist in the v14 test builds on our discord, so they'll make it to nexus eventually. Keep these coming, its great :D

    With this latest version of the mod I'm frequently getting the old buttons missing in combat bug.

      I've also experienced a bug where a Nachzerer devoured a corpse then didn't finish it's turn and the initiative was stuck. This isn't a good sign.

    How can I get a ''dark thick tunic'' for the warlock cloak? necromancers only drop dark tunics and the warlock origin starts with a dark tunic as well, they have the same art/icon as dark thick tunic but don't count as the material required.

    why are delivery quests so trash with this mod? they don't even pay the brothers wages

      They do.
      As time goes by those quests get more and more profitable.

      No they don't. They are absolutely trash and a waste of time now. They use to pay too much, but now they are not worth it.

      Depends on your roster.
      If you're an observant chap you'll notice different brothers require different upkeep.
      If your party consists of raiders, sellswords, wild, retired soldiers, swordmasters and hedge knights you'll pay a lot.

      Please dude I have 2200 hours in the game. You don't need to educate me anything about the game, and game mechanic.
      No it does not really depends on your roster. I don't have any expensive backgrounds in my roster but still has 24 brothers with an upkeep at 1050 g/day. At day 230. A delivery mission paying 370 g for one day of work is me loosing money doing that.

      You've just answered your question.
      Delivery quests are not for such a big party. And not for the late game.
      I got upkeep around 200 c\day. So, it worked well for me.

      What your saying make no sense at all. Two skull contract is not particular early game missions. One skull contract is early game mission. Two skull missions should not pay 300 G late game, no matter the contract. That is what this thread is about. They use to pay too much but now they pay too little.

      Delivery quests pay better if you get peddlers with the trade perks. They don't pay very well until you know how to negotiate a better deal.

    A great mod so far (been using it for a few days), but I have just one question:
    What's the use/purpose of the Stables? I bought two donkeys and they showed up in two of the tent slots in my Stables, however they also remain in my roster, even after I tick them as reserve. Similarly, what's the use of the character slots in the stables? Anyone I put "in reserve" stays in a slot in the roster and I can't manually move anyone from there to the Stables. Can anyone elaborate?

      The point is that you can purchase donkeys from the stables. That's it.
      When you purchase a donkey, you are essentially trading away a space for a brother in order to increase your carrying capacity (This applies to any ancillary character that you place in reserve) so everything that you mentioned seems to be as intended unless I'm way off on my understanding of how they did things.

      Yeah, I get that, but then what's the point of the "Stable" screen in the "Formations" tab, if they Donkeys can just be accessed from the main roster slots... My initial thinking was that the "Stable" screen in the Formations was used for your "retinue" - i.e the donkeys you hire and all the other auxiliary folk so they wouldn't take up space on your roster...

      Ah..but my friend this would make to much sense:)

      Perhaps the full functionality of it isnt in game yet....i know that BB is releasing an official Followers DLC, so maybe the stables will be used alongside the DLC.
      Just speculation.

      The stables are for horses, they are in the test builds, but we turned them off for the nexus release. We're still working on them and they'll be in version 14

    After trying the new version of the mod, i have to say its a love/hate relationship.For what it adds to the base game, its quite the go to mod.

    On the other hand, i simply cannon fathom how the mod is STILL messed up after so much time. Its like the devs cant do math, or see very obvious issues with the way things work/interact. Im wondering if they even play their own mod without a dev console.

    Im very tempted to download the decompiler and fix the stupid aspects of it and reupload it, since 90% of the things only need changes to values. The framework itself is solidPerhaps ill tackle it this spring. The devs need to learn some lessons from modern games, that is for sure. Maybe take some courses on game design with a focus on design space and meaningful bonii.

    The mod is amazing and the new armor system is something I could only dream of!
    However I encountered an issue, I think a bug: after a battle a secondary piece of armor was damaged to 0% health, and I can't repair it. I separated it from the original armor and marked it for repair but nothing happened. More so the tools were waisted on the repair but the armor pice was still 0%
    I hope it will get fixed in the future but the mods overall is fantastic!

      sorry about that, if you put it back on a base armor it should repair again

    Is the Legion recruitment bugged or is it supposed to be that rare? I've been patrolling (both in and out of camp) near graveyeards/mass graves/mausoleums/Black Obelisk dozens of times and yet I've never had a single recruit.
