I didn't love some aspects of the new Anatomists origin, even though the main idea is really cool, so I made this mod for myself. It changes the origin rules in a couple of small, but meaningful ways:
* After killing your first of each monster and getting a potion the normal way, there's a chance for monsters to drop a potion crafting ingredient * There's a 20/25/33% chance per monster (based on rarity), and you can get at most one of each ingredient from a single combat * These ingredients can then be used to craft additional Anatomists potions at the Taxidermist * These potions are expensive: 2000, 4000, or 6000 depending loosely on monster tier * Instead of Anatomists never being able to be confident in battle, they no longer have access to the Battle Forged perk * The idea is that you will be spending your money on potions instead of heavy armor * Added the Remedist follower as an option to reduce sickness duration
This is my first mod. Probably isn't super well balanced right now and will make Anatomists OP, but more fun.
THE SCRIPT HOOKS MOD IS NECESSARY FOR THIS TO WORK
Even though it hasn't been updated (at the time of writing this) for the new content, that script hooks mod still seems functional. This mod should be compatible with any other mod that isn't messing around with the Anatomists origin or Battle Forged perk, but probably not with complete rewrite mods like Legends.
