   When I place "Faster" in the Data directory, it does not work (even with mod hooks installed).
   Hooks works with smart recruiter; but Faster (x4 and x8 function is missing)

      it doesn't show it on the ui, just pause the game and press '3' or '4' on your keyboard. if it unpause the game, then it works.

   works with legends like a charm.
   
   please note that it doesn't change the ui! you have to use the 3 or 4 keys on your keyboard.

   Does anyone have a solution to the game freezing on enemy gunner's turn when this mod is active? This mod was never properly updated for blazing deserts :(

      I would like to know that too. Without this mod this game seems literally unplayable, but it crashes when fighting with an allied squad of nomads, using the fire lance and rotate afterwards.

      I think i had that too but it's been fixed in BB version 1.4.0.48.
      
      + you can try mod Quicker instead
      after using it, it's not as good as this mod (not as fast + caravan pb...) but it's safer

   Crashes almost 100% of the times if the battle takes too long to end.

   The mod works perfectly fine in the campaign but it doesn't in combat (archers and crossbowman are too slow). Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me?

      I suspect that one of the game updates broke the mod. I think it's been semi-broken since the last DLC and might have become more broken
      recently.
