So long as you don't build a hamlet you should be fine. Building a hamlet will corrupt your save etc. This seems to be a relatively new issue and not addressed at all yet.
Historically, I used to have problems with the Stronghold missions also causing save corruptions. That may be fixed, I don't know but I don't bother doing them now just in case.
Funny enough hamlet was bugged for me while i was trying to enter it and broking a ton of stuff.. Right after i completed all 3 missions in stronghold, its started working as intended.
Is there a plan to update this? It doesn't seem to work with the new legends updates.
After I defeat the single wave of enemies to establish the fort, I can't access the fort options to upgrade it. After a while, the fort image(after entering the settlement) just disappears altogether.
Is this still an issue with your legends version? From what I heard on their discord, there was some issue with noble enemies, an issue with hamlet, but nothing about it just not working.
I noticed that when I stored items in the stronghold, and then came back several days later to take them out, they sold for full price at marketplaces. I assume this is a bug, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue, or if that's the way it's intended.
Hello TaroEld.I play at a late stage, 300+ days, fighters 20+ lvl. Several problems arose: 1) When defending the castle (when the attackers are undead), the battle often freezes when I finish off the last necromancers (when they cast raise dead/buff). It is at the end, with the last necromancer. Before this everything works fine. It's a shame that you have to replay an hour and a half battles. 2) When defending the castle (when the attackers are undead), 130+ enemies are generated, but the battle can only be 93. Therefore, you have to do 2 battles, although after the first one writes a message that the base is protected, but a 20+ undead squad with a quest icon remains. 3) Can you increase the difficulty depending on the days spent in the game? The current difficulty is designed for games up to lvl 15 fighters. My 16 lvl 20+ fighters destroy a wave of 80+ fighters too easily. Interest in fighting is declining. a) For example, after 200 days, so that only Fallen Heroes/Ghosts/Hellhounds/Banshees/Necromancers go in the wave of undead, without meaningless little things. b) After 300 days, new types of undead were added to them - Natskhers, Necromancers, Priests, Mummified nobles, etc. The same applies to other opponents. c) After day 200, so that all opponents appear with full armor, with helmets, and with top-end weapons. d) After day 200, so that morale buffers are added to all opponents. For example, in battles against 80+ ordinary nomads, as soon as I kill 10-15 fighters, they begin to massively raise the white flag. The whole point of the game comes down to blocking with one of your fighters the maximum possible number of fleeing enemies, then they simply kill themselves. The exception is the armies of noble houses, but the artificial intelligence is very slow, pushing the flag bearer forward. 4) Is it possible to remove the daily limit on fights in the Arena? I started as gladiators, I had to create 8+ castles with Arenas around the southern city to get around the stupid limit. 5) After day 200, is it possible to increase the variety of opponents in the Arena? When you win 50 fights in the Arena, a very cool buff appears that strengthens the fighter, but the variety of opponents is very weak and quickly gets boring. 6) Is it possible to balance opponents in the arena to match the level and equipment of my gladiators? If in the first 100 days there were unrealistically difficult battles in which you had to sweat, come up with tactics, or huddle in the corner of the arena, load the fighters with nets, elixirs, etc. And after the 200th day, all fights go on automatically, while watching the movie at the same time. 7) Is it possible to add the sale of musical instruments to the castle shops? In the southern cities, a stupid situation arises: you can hire Kaina, but she cannot buff. I had to rebuild the village and buy a flute in its store so as not to run anywhere on the map.8) Is it possible to add an analogue of city events to castles? a) before 200 days, events in the native area. b) after day 200, all events of all cities on the map. In the early game this will not affect the plot, but in the late game you already want to try everything.
Hello, Apart from 1), your suggestions are really geared only for people that play endlessly long campaigns and/or should be different mods. I doubt that 1) is caused by this mod.
@TaroEld I have built a fort in the wrong spot (just one block higher), and now I cannot build a new one on a needed spot because the ruins of houses block the spot. What can be done? P.S. I have waited for several days but buildings and new road has not despawned.
For little things like this, I suggest making a savefile right before building the base. You should probably do that anyways, there might always be bugs.
Not a biggie but stuff you put in warehouse the game things they are in shop so when you retrieve them you can then sell them at their full price cause it thinks you bought them and just returning them. It's just an exploit letting you know (took me some time to figure out why some armors were being sold for 6000 gold)
your talking about the old BB-edit? If its that one several things in the inventory can break the stash not showing up not sure if its the mod causing it, can use the Bro Editor instead https://www.nexusmods.com/battlebrothers/mods/294

Apart from that it all seems to work pretty good.
