DISCLAIMER:
While the mod is mostly done and rather thoroughly tested at this point, there might still be bugs left. This might crash your game, and might corrupt a save. It might also not comply with other mods, though since it appears to work fine with legends, it will probably also with most other mods. It won't work without the Blazing Deserts DLC, as the retinue screen is vital. It might work without the other DLC, but as I don't know, I've added the requirements.

Overview:
This mod allows you to build your very own base on the map. Here, you can customize what buildings you want, you can store items to free up your inventory, you can store brothers you don't currently need, you'll get free supplies over time, you get favourable trades and high named item chance in the shops, among other things. While a fort can already be built with 10k crowns, later upgrades require a higher cart level and cost more. The mod is aimed towards longer campaigns, but a fort might already prove useful in the midgame.

1.1 is out. This version is once again not compatible with old saves. You can now build multiple bases, which require increasing amounts of renown. See the amounts required in the documentation linked below.

How to use:
-download the file and place it into \Battle Brothers\data\ without unzipping.
-you'll need modding script hooks v19+ (Legends has it integrated)

- Build the stronghold using the retinue menu. Click on the stronghold symbol on the right.
-Click on the castle in the background to manage your stronghold
-Click on the name in the town menu to rename your stronghold.
-Upgrade the stronghold to unlock more features.

Some features
-Store items and get free supplies in the modified marketplace building
-Store and retrieve brothers via the management menu
-Add or remove buildings to the stronghold, including a harbour if you're next to the sea, and an arena if it's fully upgraded
-Add locations to your stronghold, giving either vanilla buffs (like more items in shops) or new buffs (like bigger mercenary bands) 
-Add a road from your stronghold to other settlements
-Send gifts to other factions, increasing relations
-Complete special contracts to get extra options

It's best if you can give me your log file. Reproduce the bug, then go to:
C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Battle Brothers\log.html
Copy out the log file before you restart the game, as that wipes the file clean.
