About this mod

This mod is an overhaul of Red Hood's playable character. I was disappointed with vanilla Red Hood from his DLC, so I made my own version of him. This mod gives Red Hood a new moveset, ,modified gadgets, and more. Setup is simple, no downloads necessary. All you need is a Console.txt for Arkham Knight.

The latest update to this mod adds two new variations of this mod from earlier in development, fixes for two counters that weren't activating properly, and the pistol that Red Hood has was changed as well.

Two notable perks that the earlier versions of this mod have:

-The Batman/Azrael version of this mod has an incendiary version of the disruptor, which also has the mesh of Red Hood's sniper rifle that so many people have wanted to use for so long.

-The Batgirl version of this mod has unused takedown dialogue for Red Hood that activates when you do a double takedown, or silently take down the last enemy.

However, the Batman and Batgirl versions of this mod have their own issues, which is why I didn't release them initially.  But since I've been getting so many requests to release a Batman version of this mod, I'm releasing these versions.  That means that this mod didn't work out perfectly for Batgirl and Batman, which means don't report bugs for them.  The finalized version of this mod is the Robin version, so if you experience bugs only report them for Robin.  Don't report bugs from the Batman and Batgirl versions, they are unfixable and I'm already aware of them which is why I didn't release them at first.

If you want to be able to use the Batmobile and fix a lot of the bugs for Batman, remove this code from the Batman version of this mod:

Set RPawnPlayerCombat PlayerType EPVT_RedHood

The trade off is that without this code, Red Hood's HUD doesn't work, so you'll have to use the default HUD if you remove this code.

I REPEAT: THIS MOD IS MEANT FOR ROBIN! DON'T REPORT BUGS FROM THE NON-ROBIN VERSIONS PLEASE!

-Red Hood's strikes have a lot more variety to them.  He still retains his brawling style that his vanilla character had, however I've added a few more animations in such as dropkicks and knee strikes.  Red Hood also has the ability to jump off of walls/railings for his strikes, just like Batman/Azrael/Batgirl.  Most of Red Hood's floor strikes have also been replaced with kicking/stomping attacks.

-Red Hood's counters have been modified heavily because I hated how the vanilla character was mainly just reused Nightwing animations.  Red Hood's counters are a mixture of takedowns and brawling moves.  There's also several animations in the base game that went unused, which were added in this mod.

-Red Hood's takedowns are drastically different than before.  Red Hood no longer has his pistols in his hands during combat, most of his takedowns are bone breaks and Brazilian jiu jitsu-style takedowns.  He also has the backbreaker from Crime Alley available as a takedown.

-Robin is the base character used for this mod, so Red Hood's gadgets are mostly the same as his.

-As a replacement for Red Hood's pistols that he's always holding in combat, the explosive gel gadget has been heavily modified to function like an explosive pistol.  Quickfire the gel in combat to make Red Hood pull out his pistol and fire a powerful shot that does heavy damage to any enemies hit by it.  In predator, the gel plant has been modified to function more like the mines planted by enemies.  Any enemies within the radius of the explosion are immediately ko'd. (Excluding brutes, it just staggers them a bit.)

-The Shuriken now explodes whenever it is thrown at an enemy.

-The snap-flash gets removed from the gadget wheel when the mod is activated.  With the modifications made to the explosive gel it no longer serves a purpose, so it was removed.

-Unused gadget icons for Red Hood are used in this mod.

-Red Hood still has the special HUD that his vanilla character has.

This mod isn't perfect, there are a handful of minor issues:

-Bullet shield is invisible, I was just gonna remove it but I don't know how to remove specific gadgets on gadget wheels.
-I haven't figured out how to change striking noises, and since Robin is the base character for this mod, Red Hood's punches make the same sounds as Robin's staff.
-Red Hood can't do grate takedowns.
-Red Hood can't pounce, however he can still do drop attacks.
-The Remote Hacking Device screen doesn't work properly, however the gadget still works just fine.

One last thing that should be noted is that once you're spawned in as Red Hood, you should probably activate the codes a few more times just to make sure the moveset and animations activate properly.

UPDATED DESCRIPTION: This will likely be one of the last updates to the Revamped Red Hood Mod. This is probably the best moveset I've made. Rather than having one set of mirrored moves like the other characters in the Arkham series, Red Hood wields a pistol in his right hand and a pipe in his left hand. Each hand has its own set of moves that correspond with the weapon being held. Red Hood also has Robin's spinning throw as one of his special combo moves. Red Hood's far beatdown attacks are also used as strikes, so he'll occasionally fire off shots at enemies in combat. Predator doesn't really have much strategy, he has infinite fear takedowns and was also given the inverted takedown, he has a stronger REC but it has a short cooldown.

Activation is the same as the previous versions, instructions are in the zipped file.  Past versions of the mod are still included in the zipped file.

Only issue with this mod is that Red Hood can't put away his weapons once he pulls them out.
