Well, Rocksteady's new Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League recently released and it quickly become one of my favorite games of the year! It released with tons of great designs for every characters, batman included. His design quickly became a fan favorite and I knew I had to port it to Arkham Knight because of Rocksteady's insane technical complexity in their character models.
Because of that, this one's definitely my biggest mod that I've made so far and publicly released! So let's get straight into the most notable features of this mod and the stuff I've put most of my heart in to give the suit justice because this one's going to be packed!

FEATURES

CUSTOM SHOWCASE
Each of the skins included has its own unique showcase entry as well, all of them having a unique pose and props!



CUSTOM FACE (optional)
I usually don't like doing custom faces due to consistency between other DLC suits, however, this one's an exception because SSKTJL Bruce is still Arkham Bruce, so I thought it'd be nice to give him an update. Considering this I had to make sure I have: custom hair, custom textures, custom wrinkle maps and masks, custom DeCowl eyepaint, custom DeCowl morphs for the hair and head, custom eyes/teeth/wetlines, you get the idea. It was a super tedious and long process but I think in the end, he actually looks even better than normal Arkham Knight Bruce! Of course there's also an AK Bruce face version if you are into that, but I'd consider that a secondary option.


ARMOR PHYSICS
One thing that's one of Rocksteady's staple for attention to detail when it comes to characters is their Armor Physics, where every single piece of armor is calculated on runtime on how it should move in real-time, it's super prominent in Arkham Knight and SSKTJL is no exception. Of course I couldn't just half-ass the mod and make the armor without doing it properly, so I had to make the suit justice. In the end this is the first ever mod with fully custom armor controllers (which you'll get to see more from me in the near future), so with that out of the way, I will showcase the 2 most notable armor controllers that I've worked on for this mod!

SHADING
The shading for this suit was actually pretty fun to get done accurately, as the suit's shading in SSKTJL is pretty much just v8 but improved. I needed to recreate that legacy feeling, and without getting into many details, I think I did it quite well with the lacquered underlayer, leather and metals.




TEXTURES
The interesting thing about SSKTJL is that it does its base color, normal and roughness fully on runtime using vector curves and surface details, which meant that doing a fully accurate port of this 1 would be way harder than most people would expect, hence why I believe it's a notable feature that should be listed off. Here's a some pictures of how the curves, material setup and final texture ended up looking like.
