A modders resource for making your own character icons for suit slots.
- Permissions and credits
Step 1: Take your character screenshot and cut out the background.
Step 2: Save as PNG.
Step 3: Open the PSD provided
Step 4: Place your screenshot between Layer 0 and Layer 1
Step 5: Position as needed until your character is centred correctly.
Step 6: Use the selection tool to delete the unwanted parts of the image (anything outside the white box)
Step 7: Select the background with the magic wand tool
Step 8: Invert selection
Step 9: Go to the alpha channel and paint it white. You should now see the white outline as well as your character's silhouette in white
Step 10: Export DDS as DXT5 and name it as desired
Step 2: Save as PNG.

Step 4: Place your screenshot between Layer 0 and Layer 1
Step 5: Position as needed until your character is centred correctly.
