There's still a lot of good stuff on Nexus for this game, and the Nexus format is better imho, but it seems the most active place to get some of the newest big Banished mods including the Megamod v8.01, and Colonial Charter v1.76, isn't good ol' Nexus but a more dedicated small forum run by the main Banished modders: https://www.blackliquidsoftware.com
However, you don't need to join to download, I just downloaded it. The main forum page there looks a bit odd at the mo with php/quota failures, but the forum and it's links work. Those links are just google docs so make sure to scan them.
When I click the links in the page here I get directed to http://ww12.colonialcharter.com/ which is just more download and advertisement sites. I was looking for the list of compatible mods but I am not finding the list. I am however finding lots of PDF converter software downloads.
One of the most impressive mods I have ever seen for any game. It is essentially an amazing DLC, not a mod that adds in so many extra details, buildings and things to do it's like having a new version of Banished. You can still add other mods while using this one (don't worry the game will tell you if there will be a conflict and you can decide to turn off anything you don't like). The only thing I'm trying to figure out is how to get sand, clay & reeds to be stored (the mod has these items, but the aren't being stored. Once I figure this out, I'll post here, because without sand you can't get bricks and bricks are used by a lot of other buildings).

You will need to have the beta 1.0.5 of the game to run the new CC. You can get the patch here: www.shiningrocksoftware.com/patch/BanishedPatch_1.0.4_To_1.0.5.151214.Beta.zip Note that if it looks like the beta in itself is causing crashes and the game refuses to start, it can be because your original game is missing a file, or you skipped an earlier patch. I recommend taking the time to redownload your Banished installer and reinstall it cleanly before applying the patch, to avoid the potential "why is it not not working" madness and loss of time
Shoobox: In order to run CC New Frontier with the 1.05 Beta, you need to go get the "fix" that Kralyerg made (it's also needed for one small thing in NMT it seems)

Edit: Nvm. Found it on steam. And they are setting up a new site for it.
Fixes a few bugs and typos and adds a couple of things here and there. Requires a new town.
