I am a huge fan of Warlocks, and Hex is one of the biggest reasons why. From the bonus damage, to the debuff, to the raw flavor, everything about the spell just tickles my brain. But the severe dropoff in usefulness that the spell faces as soon as you hit level 3 is extremely hard to contend with. This mod aims to increase the lifespan of Hex and allow it to remain an option throughout the game.
Details:
- In line with the Unearthed Arcana Playtest 5, Hex now scales in damage at Spell Level 3 and Spell Level 5, increasing to 2d6 and 3d6, respectively.
- Debuff functionality remains intact
- That's really all there is to it, this is a very simple mod
Installation:
Please save yourself the hassle and just use the BG3 Mod Manager to install. I do not recommend uninstalling this mod at any point during a playthrough. I will be unable to provide troubleshooting assistance if you decide to do so.
Compatibility:
This mod only adjusts the Hex spells, and should be fully compatible with anything that does not touch those spells. If incompatibilities or inconsistencies arise, bring them to my attention and I may patch for those if permissions allow.
