I wanted to do this but decided it's not worth my time after realizing Larian probably hardcoded breakconcentration() into some Prone condition. Total clown show.
And yet they're nearly universally glazed. I hate that prone has a duration and if it runs out you stand back up without having to spend movement.
This means a fun little martial crowd control combo of prone+frighten via trip attack and menacing attack to keep them prone doesn't work because Larian coded melee trip attack with a duration of one round and you don't actually spend "speed" to stand up.
This seems like it's more of a side effect than a bug, this mod breaks Tasha's Hideous Laughter. Creatures affected by it can move and take actions even though the spell should prevent that.
It seems Larian only programmed the spell to knock the target prone since their prone condition (without this mod) skips your whole turn.
Found a problem that this mod might be causing. I'm not quite sure but when affected by Hideous Laughter, eniemies still seems to be able to attack instead of being incapacitated.
Yeah, Hideous Laughter is inheriting too much (and maybe too little at the same time) from normal prone. I need to test a few more adjustments, but I'll get that in the next update!
Thanks for the mod! Prone and paralyzed definitely needed a rework.
I noticed enemies are standing up and then laying back down every time they get hit - is this is the "staying prone" animation issue mentioned in the description?
Yeah, there have been some people working on making animation adjustments more accessible. Unfortunately, though, the person that made the most progress so far needed to step away to deal with some RL stuff, so there's been a delay.

And if yes, how do you get your characters up, apart from healing?
