About this mod

A mod that edits Voice 5 to sound more like Frieza. Please note that I can only do so much with the voice editing software I use. If you want a closer voice, you might want to look into someone that makes AI voice mods and see if they can get you anything better!

Someone requested a mod to make a Frieza voice for Tav. As of now (1.0.0.0), this does NOT include point and click lines, but I'm working on figuring those out so I can add them as well. If the difference in voice bothers you, I recommend turning off point and click dialogue until I update it.

The voices is just the slightest bit robotic-sounding. I haven't been able to figure out how to fix it, but if you know of a way I'd love some help!

Compatibility:
No known issues with any more used mods. If you have a mod installed that already overrides the option(s) you download, this mod will conflict with that one.

To Install:
BG3MM or any other way you'd normally install a PAK file. Please note this mod is an Override mod, so you'll need to leave it down in the Override section, not the active section.

I don't use Vortex so I won't be able to help with any install issues there!

To Uninstall:
Using the Magic Mirror, change your voice to one of the other 7 voices. Save and close your game, delete the mod, and load back into your game. You should be able to use any of the vanilla voices now.

This mod was very fun to make, so if there are any specific voices you'd like to hear, feel free to reach out!

Tools used to make this mod:
BG3 Modders Multitool - Seriously, this is a GODSEND for unpacking and packing files
Foobar2000 (and the vmgstream decoder) - to turn WEM files into WAV files, though it looks like the above tool might do that now too
WavePad - to edit the audio files
WWise - To convert the WAV files to VORBIS files

Huge thanks to fantagia, whose tutorial showed me this was possible at all, even if I took a slightly different way to get there in the end!
Thank you also to fireundubh for the guide to modding BG3, and the in-depth info on metadata. As a beginner, I 100% couldn't have done this without this.
