By default the game uses DualSense button prompts only when Steam Input is disabled, but this also disables vibration.
This little mod swaps Xbox prompts with DualSense ones, making the game think that you are using an Xbox controller.
Just unpack the archive and put the "Public" folder into *your installation path*\Baldurs Gate 3\Data.
However, another step is required for the vibration to work - you need to use DS4Windows or DSX and emulate either Xbox 360 controller or DualShock 4 (the latter is preferable due to retained touchpad functionality).
