I'm loving this mod but is It intended for enemies to also have double actions? for example the devil general in the beginning of the game has 2 actions also other enemies in the game do.
Hello, will the mod be updated to patch 7 or added officially to the game? The mod works now, but when loading a save, a warning always pops up and it starts to interfere. Thanks in advance.
Hey, I can take a look. I was waiting for the new modding tools to settle a bit but it seems quite alright and stable. I will see in the coming weeks if this mod can be put onto the official mod.io.
I'm seeing warning that this bugs classes going past lvl 20 but what happens if the class is already capable of going past 20? due to the either the lvl 20 mod or the mod itself supports it?
Hey, sorry if it's a silly question. I'm planning to use this for a single player run with only one companion. Does this mod also affect the party members? If so, is there a way to disable it for the party members?
Loving the MOD but really wanted to do somethings as a group - I can't remove mod from the current play-through, regardless if i delete or uninstall it I'm still logging in to double actions/bonus actions - any ideas?
Hi, I haven't personally tried it but in general the patches shouldn't break it. I would guess it is not installed properly. Does nothing work or only parts?
Hello! Long time listener, first time caller. I started a new game with Lone Wolf (V10) enabled in Vortex. I don't appear to have the extra action/bonus action I am supposed to in combat. I am playing a Warlock but I am also using the Warlock Mod "Ultimate Warlock". I also attempted to use the version 8 (Copy Public Folder into Baldurs Gate/Data) and completely restarted the game but that didn't fix the issue. Any advice?
Hey, any custom classes probably change the same files...you would need to manually merge the files that give double actions from my file into the warlock mods file.
In the file character.txt you need to make sure that under "hero" the line says ""ActionPoint:2;BonusActionPoint:2;ReactionActionPoint:2". I guess you need to change that in the warlock mod version of that file.
just changing the load order might work but it might break the warlock mod. technically you also should make sure that all the changes i made to progressions.lsx are also in their version of the file.
I tried this for a fresh duo run, and I'm having a problem. One of my characters, who was a fighter, lost his extra action somehow but still has his extra bonus action. All other character still have two actions. I lost it in the middle of a fight, I think right after I used an extra attack granted to me by the GWM feat. It's possible I clicked the icon for the extra attack (which shows up like a passive or something) and then unclicked it.
There is one unusual thing about that character, though I don't think it's a factor. It's was created with custom companions mod, so it's essentially a hireling whose name and other characteristics can be changed. I also made it an avatar with another mod, which forces bg3 to treat it like a 2nd main character in a co-op game.
Anyway, is there any way for me to get the extra action back on that character? I've tried re-spec'ing and even dismissing/re-creating the character from scratch. The mod is definitely still working on my Tav and all other origin characters. (tbh, I feel like some allies, for example Wyll and Zevlor in the initial attack on the grove gates, are getting double actions too, but it's hard to tell for sure.)
Hi, as you mentioned respecing should work but if that doesn't then I guess you need a character editor but I am not sure if those are working for BG3. I would guess the mods you are using are reacting with my mod somehow and unfortunately I don't really know how to fix it besides maybe changing load order.
Regarding the characters getting double actions, yes all playable ones do. Zevlor shouldn't but Wyll should. Be careful because Minthara for example will.
Thanks for the reply! FWIW, I'm not running anything that changes action points or other general aspects of combat, but the character in question was using a custom class, Ghost of Faerun (Samurai type class). I am using Death March, but I think that only affects enemies. (I am not using the optional add-on that nerfs some OP player abilities.) Also, the character is a custom companion, essentially a custom hireling spawn, that was made into a player avatar, with another mod.
That said, I'm sure you're right, and it was caused by an unexpected interaction with something else, given that I explicitly saw it disappear and all the other extra actions/BAs are still doubled. I just worry it was an interaction with the GWM feat, because that would be a general problem that might affect everyone. And, it does seem plausible that toggling the bonus GWM action, which you get after a kill and shows up as a toggle passive, on and then off, which I did b/c I didn't have movement to get in range, might accidentally remove the extra action that your mod adds. (btw, I did have it dead last in the ordering.)
If it wasn't an honour run, I'd go back some saves and test it for you some more.
P.S. I was able to salvage the run by switching to a similar add-on that does it through a passive that can be toggled. (To my surprise, it did not add a third action of BA to the characters that already had 2 and did remove the extra actions from all characters when toggled off. The add-on doesn't include your other nice buffs, but I guess I'll suffer through ;) )

The mod load order is correct and modsettings.lsf contains the mod info.
I will see in the coming weeks if this mod can be put onto the official mod.io.
