This "mod" in its current form is just a basic tweak of the spell target list found after unpacking the shared pak files using  the larian export tools. See this post for an example walkthrough process:

This mod removes the spell slot requirements associated with find familiar and false life and also adds the spells animate dead and conjure animals to basic items found in the game. Conjure animals is currently added to the basic robe armor piece and animate dead is currently added to the intellect headband. Using the above link or attached files (search for the above spells), you should be able to easily modify any spells to your liking in terms of requirements by editing the "UseCost" field in the Spell_target.txt file. 

i.e. data "UseCosts" "ActionPoint:1" -> spell costs 1 action but no spell slots

Apologize for the loose files right now, they are meant to be more of an example anyway. Pak files can easily be created to load in with preferred mod managers.
