- Repurposed Motivation: The apparatus enshrouds the holder in a protective ward, providing extra 2 AC and effectively functions as a shield. - Arcane Reservoir: Arcane energy overflows from the Banite crystal, granting the holder an additional level 1 Spell Slot. - Arcane Battery: The crystal accumulates arcane energy every Long Rest. This energy can be expended to negate the magic cost of a spell.
