How to change the portrait background? In this mod I changed the background for halfelf. You can unpack it to see how do I make it. If you don't know how to unpack, I also provided the loose files version. Unzip it and you will see how do I make it. I gave all portraits background I can find in the optional file. If you want to change background for a specific race, just rename the background you want to the corresponding race's background. Then put the Generated folder into the Data folder of the game. Also, you can check the top post. A very kind user listed which race uses which background
Remember to update your tav portrait after your edit is done. Long rest, leveling up and using magic mirror can update portrait
