Version 1.1
Various improvements and tweaks
Why does Sights of the Seelie summon a Deva - a celestial? In the Forgotten Realms the Seelie are the masters of the Feywild, not residents of the upper planes. And why does it just reuse a summon from another spell? Clearly, someone forgot to finish this spell before release.* Perhaps this spell most players never find was just overlooked by the developers too.
This mod seeks to correct this injustice by thematically reworking Sights of the Seelie into a unique summoning spell which properly conjures a fey being - in this case an archfey.
The archfey is highly mobile, able to fly and cast Misty Step. It also can cast Dissonant Whispers to damage and frighten opponents and can use Pixie Dust to cover enemies in Faerie Fire.
This mod also removes the once per short rest cooldown from all three vault spells.
* actually, if you dig around in the source code it’s clear that at one point Bestial Communion, which is the name of the scroll you learn Sights of the Seelie from was a polymorph spell that would transform the caster into some sort of undefined creature. When and why it became a reused summon spell we may never know, but it feels rushed to me.
