About this mod

A homebrew Warlock Patron loosely inspired by the Far-Realm Infested Stars like Hadar.
The Pact focuses on killing living creatures and sacrificing the life force of those you have slain, as well as your own, to cast more spells.

Changelogs
Dark Hunger Warlock
A Homebrew Warlock Pact
Requires Script Extender
Requires Compatibility Framework.
Compatible with 5e Spells. Works even if you don't have 5e Spells.
This class does not go past level 12 and doesn't plan to.

This is a very video-gamey subclass that exists for the video game, Baldur's Gate 3.

Short Version
 // Level 1 \\
When you kill things, you gain a resource and the dead creature's corpse explodes to deal Necrotic damage in a small AoE.
Once per Long Rest, you can use the resource gained from this to restore a single Warlock Spell Slot.
You can also choose one of four Secondary Features.
Curse of Hunger | Curse of Desecration | Devotion to Madness | Husk of the Devourer

// Level 6 \\
You can sacrifice some of your Max HP to cast a spell without expending a Warlock Spell Slot.
The cost is 5% of your Maximum HP per spell level.
This is a Max HP reduction, reducing it until you take a Long Rest.

// Level 10 \\
Inflicts guaranteed Madness on any creature for 1 turn.
After the first turn, creature can make Charisma saves to resist.

Comes with homebrew Cantrips and Spells that you can read later at your own convenience.

Long Version

// Notes and Known Issues \\
TOO MUCH DAMN TEXT.
TOO MUCH NECROTIC DAMAGE.

It may not be clear, but Elder Rites just reduces your Max HP until you take a Long Rest.
It does not technically deal damage to you.

Vision of the Far Realm should be once per Long Res but that's boring

Cantrips, Spells, and Features, are not very balanced.
They are not intended to be completely balanced, as they are abilities made for Baldur's Gate 3, not DnD 5e.
The same can be said for this Homebrewed Subclass.

My brain is too small and smooth to keep track of everything in my own mod, so please bear with any mistakes.

Some Spell Descriptions in the Mod Images might be outdated due to the gap in time between setting those up and finishing the mod.
