This mod contains daggers, shortswords, staff, and wand that function as shields, providing AC boosts instead of attacks. There's also a Walking Staff that any character can wield in the off-hand without shield proficiency but that doesn't provide an AC boost.
The daggers, shortswords, and wand use regular dual wielding animations and so behave nicely. The staves use shield animations, which looks a bit stilted.
To keep staves visible without weapons drawn you also need to use the Visible Shields mod. (Not needed for daggers and swords.)
How To Get The items can be found in a Cartilaginous Chest in the room next to where Shadowheart is trapped in the tutorial. For existing characters you can summon a fresh copy of the chest using Tutorial Chest Summoning.
If you prefer having the items added to vendors instead of using the chest, there's a mod for that.
