With this update, the mod has been incorporated into the Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) mod. Please refer to its page for instructions on how to navigate and use it for this mod's configurable features if you aren't already using the mod and the Configuration section to see the option.
Overview
I cannot show the majority of the spells as they are currently only accessible to those that either purchase such from the aforementioned homebrew creator's Kickstarter or subscribe to their patreon page. However, they still offer quite a few resources that are free, one of which includes their Generic Elemental Spells and Casting Compendium, generally releases more of his stuff for free over time, so if you're interested, please see below. The majority of the spells that'll be implemented over time will be from the aforementioned linked pdfs.
If there are any problems with spells or anything else, definitely let me know. Listed below are the spells currently implemented. For load order, generally you would want to put it above class/subclass mods.
While the mod is setup through MCM now, you can still opt to modify the .json that is created MCM at the file location: AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Script Extender\BG3MCM\Profiles\Default\HomebrewSpells. You can modify the file using any text editor like Notepad, Notepad++ or Visual Studio Code. In order for the options to actually take after you've selected them, you must restart the game. Below is a description of each file:
Remove Homebrew Spells - This section contains a list of options from Cantrips to the 1st-5th level spells that will remove all of the selected levels spells from all spell lists when enabled.
- Burn
- Decaying Touch
- Electric Arc
- Fists of Fire
- Force Bolt
- Freeze
- Ice Weapon - Wasn't able to add the lance option due to the weapon type missing from the game currently
- Illusionary Dart
- Impact
- Rock Slam
- Shadow Lash
- Sonic Blast
- Sparking Blade - Credit to chronosperpetua for creation of this spell.
- Stone Forming - Successfully limits the ability to summon only 3 weapons at once but unable to tie the effect that allows unarmed strikes to deal 1d8 bludgeoning into the three effects limitation as the spell denotes.
- Thunder Note - Deafness was removed this patch but might be a chance it'll get implemented later. Might revisit whether its done by Larian or not.
- Water Bullet
- Arctic Breath
- Blade Mirage - Currently, I haven't implemented the method for performing an Investigation ability check but will be planned later in some way or another.
- Crashing Wave
- Entomb
- Gale Bolt
- Lightning Tendril
- Thunder Punch
- Water Blast
- Cold Snap
- Crackle
- Fling
- Lightning Charged
- Aether Lance
- Electrocute
- Flash Freeze
- Fire Cyclone
- Vortex Blast
- Jumping Jolt - Credit to Excinerus for the fix for this though to note, for any creature hit after the 2nd bolt, it won't show the attack roll despite the roll still occurring due to weird limitations of the engine when it comes to forking projectiles. There's possibly a way to finagle it but not really worth it.
- Ice Spike
- Orbital Stones
- Devouring Darkness
- Sky Burst

KibblesTasty - Released many spells into the Creative Commons and provides general permission to use any of their material. Check out his website which contains a lot of his work, the ways to contact him, a link to his patreon and more.
somanyrobots - Provided permission to implement spells he's created in addition to the Troubadour class (just Sonic Blast so far). If you're interested in other homebrew projects or are curious in general about him, please check out his linktr.ee website which links to his discord channel, his homebrew site, patreon and others.
I would recommend installing mods using the BG3 Mod Manager.
