Don't remember the name of the armour, but u can find it in act 1 at Waukeens's Rest. There is a drow body near a praying flaming fist, it got the armour
No. This is strictly a resource for color palettes as of Patch 9. Not sure what has changed since. Mostly, it was uploaded so modders didn't have to dig too deep to find pre-existing palettes if they wanted to use presets for their own equipment mods.
So, if I take these palettes could I change a dye's applied palette to one of these? Genuinely have no idea but if dyes just apply a specific palette, then that should work similar to the old palette mods, right? Then again if it was that simple people would have probably done so by now.
I haven't unpacked anything after official release, so I can't be sure of what has or hasn't changed since. Also, I can't recall where certain references were. Sorry.
Wondering if the UUID codes given can be utilized in the same manner to which you can alter an armor's color preset as you would for the Armor Color Presets mod by adding data "ColorPresetResource" "----UUID----"?
Funny. I forgot about that mod. Yes, I suspect it would be no problem as the purpose here was to give a preview for all the presets that Larian Studios made available - far as I know. Give it a go.
The reason I even asked is because I had thought that I attempted to do just that and don't remember getting anything to happen but....I think I'm just getting older because I organized my mods again and had it ready to go but for some reason I idiotically posted that message and immediately after ran the game and it's working just fine through that method. Getting older is hilarious.....you do nonsense crap like this and waste everyone's time. LoL. -- but yea it's working through that process just fine if that information ever becomes useful. Thanks, bud. Take it easy!

Is so where?
Should the <materialsoverride> vector3parameters override a preset?
